next generation counterbalast system designWhen it comes to safety, we at Trygons do not cut back at all. Three years ago, we designed, made and used a totally new concept in free-diving safety technology. Back then, we promised, and accomplished to organize a 214meter free-dive safer than a normal constants dive! A sonar, 2 powerful electric motors, 3 alternative lifting procedures, plus extreme sled speed, where all invented by Trygons for that purpose. At a breathless 4'20'', back then, everybody realized that our favorite sport can be pushed a lot deeper!
skandalopetra filmingLast year, Trygons organized a new "skandalopetra" freediving world record.
It was a very easy 107meter dive for Herbert. Although everything went ok, we where a bit disappointed with the footage. So, this year we came back, and installed a video camera on the stone! The actual footage will take some months to edit and will probably be out around September. But, Trygons has kept some testing footage, done with Italian Trygons diver Tomasso Buglioni: Of course our new heavy duty 150m housing with Sony tx-7 was used. tuna vortex
Planing this filming goes back 2 years, while filming movie " bejond limits". We where wondering how good can a spearfishing scene be filmed. And , on the 26th of June, it all happen within 30sec! Herbert, with a trygons dmf130R hosting an onboard HD aluminium trygons housing. Alexander Abela with a Subal-Cannon eos5 MKII from above. They got the 60sec footage that every diver speaks about! More than 1000 tunas , sized from 60 to 400kgr, circling Herbert in the middle of the Agean Sea in Greece! Special thanks to the "tuna tracker" Bagelis Moundrianakis. Freediving World RecordsHerbert Nitsch makes another 3 freediving world records with Trygons support!
Nolimits RecordTrygons designed and made a free-diving no-limits "sled" ,and safety system. It was used by Herbert Nitsch to brake his own world record.
